Technical SEO services that fix what stops Google from ranking your site

Great content can't rank if search engines can't crawl, read and index it. I'm Afshan Tahir, a technical SEO specialist with five years in SEO. I find the problems holding your site back, explain them in plain English, and fix them myself or with your developer, with clear monthly plans and no long contracts.

Why technical SEO

If Google can't read your site, nothing else works.

01

Pages that aren't indexed can't rank

Blocked pages, wrong canonical tags, noindex mistakes and orphan pages quietly keep important content out of Google.

02

Slow, unstable pages lose visitors

Google uses Core Web Vitals to measure loading speed, responsiveness and visual stability. Poor scores hurt the experience and can hold rankings back.

03

AI crawlers need clean sites too

AI search tools read your pages much like Google does. Broken links, missing structured data and blocked crawlers make your business harder for them to understand and cite.

How search engines read your site

Three steps every page must pass

Google finds your pages, stores them in its index, then decides what to show. Here's what I check at each step.

STEP 1

Crawling

Can Google find your pages?

WHAT IT MEANS

Googlebot follows links and sitemaps to discover the pages on your site.

WHAT GOES WRONG

Sections blocked in robots.txt, broken links, orphan pages and slow servers that waste crawl time.

WHAT I DO

Clean up robots.txt and sitemaps, fix broken links and connect orphan pages to the rest of the site.

STEP 2

Indexing

Does Google store and understand them?

WHAT IT MEANS

Google reads each page and decides whether to add it to its index.

WHAT GOES WRONG

Noindex mistakes, wrong canonicals, duplicate pages and thin content that Google chooses to skip.

WHAT I DO

Fix canonicals and duplicates, check indexing in Search Console and improve the pages Google ignores.

STEP 3

Serving

Is your page the best answer?

WHAT IT MEANS

When someone searches, Google picks the most useful indexed pages to show.

WHAT GOES WRONG

Slow pages, a poor mobile experience and missing structured data that make competitors look better.

WHAT I DO

Improve Core Web Vitals and mobile usability, and add schema that helps search engines understand each page.

01What are technical SEO services?

Technical SEO services make sure search engines can crawl, index and understand your website. The work covers site audits, indexing, Core Web Vitals and speed, redirects and 404s, structured data, site architecture and internal linking.

02How much do technical SEO services cost?

My monthly plans start at $350 with no contract, and every plan starts with a full technical audit. Advanced ($650) includes full technical SEO for larger or more complex sites.

03What is included in a technical SEO audit?

A full crawl of your site plus a review of Google Search Console, page speed and structured data. You get a list of issues ranked by impact, with the affected URLs and the exact fix for each one.

04How long does technical SEO take to show results?

Fixes such as indexing problems or broken redirects can show results within weeks, once Google recrawls the pages. Speed and structural improvements usually build over a few months.

05Do you fix the issues or only report them?

Both. I can make the fixes directly on WordPress and other common platforms, or give your developer clear instructions and check the work afterwards.

06What are Core Web Vitals?

Core Web Vitals are Google's measures of real-world page experience: loading speed (LCP), responsiveness (INP) and visual stability (CLS). Google recommends good scores for success in search.

07Can you help with a site migration or redesign?

Yes. I map old URLs to new ones, set up redirects, protect metadata and structured data, and monitor rankings and indexing after launch.

08Do I need technical SEO if my site runs on WordPress or Shopify?

Usually, yes. These platforms handle the basics, but themes, plugins, apps and settings often create duplicate pages, slow loading or indexing problems.
